OBJECTIVE OF THE POLYTECHNIC LIBRARY

The Bayelsa State Polytechnic Aleibiri Library aims to acquire credible, complete, current and relevant information resources in print and electronic format to support teaching, learning and research in such disciplines as Accounting, Mass Communication, Law, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Administration, Science Laboratory Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Agricultural Technology, Foundation Studies, as well as newly-introduced courses such as Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Building Technology. The Polytechnic Library has a Main Library and an Electronic Library (E-Library). The Polytechnic Main Library contains a good collection of books in various courses offered by the Polytechnic. A significant number of these books have been acquired through Purchase and Tetfund Interventions. On the other hand, other books have been acquired by means of gifts or donations.
